Meet Dr. April Bee: Wellness Coach, Author, and Advocate for Healing

Dr. April Bee is a certified Wellness Coach, author, and advocate for healing. Dr. Bee's empathetic, educational, and empowering approach helps her clients improve their mental and physical wellness, particularly after traumatic experiences.

Using transformational speaking techniques and her own experiences, Dr. Bee opens the minds and hearts of her patients to promote change and personal growth. She believes in providing a platform and space for the community to express themselves individually and collectively, creating innovative approaches to address trauma and share joy.

One of Dr. Bee's wellness projects is the Breathe Project, which highlights the experiences of Black men in America and provides a platform for them to express themselves. After just two months, Dr. Bee noticed significant personal growth and evolution among the men participating

Dr. Bee's genuine and authentic personality creates relatability and comfort for her patients, reminding them that their trauma does not define them and that they are enough. In her book Mama, What's Cookin', Dr. Bee shares her story about her relationship with her mother and its impact on her life.

Through her writing and wellness events, from yoga to poetry, Dr. Bee strives to create a community that reflects her goals of healing and connection. She provides a space for individuals to freely express themselves and access the healing necessary to overcome traumatic experiences.
