Introducing Black Mental Wellness, Corp.

Empowering the Black Community to Access the Support They Deserve

Black Mental Wellness Corp. was established by four dedicated clinical psychologists with a shared passion for addressing mental health and wellness issues within the Black community. It all began in 2016 when Nicole L. Cammack recognized the glaring need for readily available information, particularly for the Black community, while working with active-duty service members on a military base. Cammack joined forces with Danielle R. Busby, Dana L. Cunningham, and Jessica S. Henry, forming an executive team committed to breaking down the barriers and challenging the stigma surrounding mental health.

Offering a wide range of services such as corporate webinars and training, culturally inclusive training, workshops, retreats, curriculum development, and consultation services, Black Mental Wellness Corp. aims to make a real difference.

Their mission is to provide culturally sensitive educational resources on mental and behavioral health topics, promote diversity among mental health professionals by facilitating training opportunities, and work tirelessly to decrease the mental health stigma within the Black community.

Driven by these experiences, the team at Black Mental Wellness Corp. has developed a comprehensive list of "intentional" and accessible resources that are available free of charge. Their website offers valuable resources such as mental health disorder fact sheets, wellness strategies, and a wealth of information on websites, apps, and podcasts dedicated to mental health and wellness.

In addition to making resources accessible, the team of licensed clinical psychologists is committed to increasing the representation of Black professionals within the mental health field by creating training opportunities for those interested in pursuing careers in the industry.
