Dazelle Yvette: The Actress, Model, and CEO Spreading Joy

Memphis-born, Chicago native, Dazelle Yvette, has always had a passion for the entertainment industry. At just 14 years old, she began her professional career in fashion as a runway model, strutting her stuff down runways all across the US and even in Paris, France. But Dazelle's aspirations didn't stop there. She went on to pursue acting and has since began making a name for herself in both television and film.

Dazelle's acting career has seen her co-star in major TV shows like the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning "Grey's Anatomy" and the final season of John Singleton's "Snowfall" (2023). She has also taken on roles in popular romantic comedies like "At Midnight" (2023) and "Plus One at an Amish Wedding" (2022). Dazelle has appeared on stage in various productions, among them Mildred Dumas's "A Gathering of Pioneers" where she played the role of Mrs. Michelle Obama, and in Tennessee Williams's "Moony's Kid Don't Cry" directed by Gloria Gifford where she portrayed the character of Jane.

Her exceptional talent and performances have earned her recognition and awards in the film industry. The Festigious International Film Festival awarded "Right Where You Need To Be" with the Best Drama award, while the Los Angeles Movie Awards recognized "Balance of Power'' as the Best Experimental Film. Dazelle's role in "Mino: A Diasporic Myth" assisted in the win of both the Best Sci-Fi award at the Berlin Short Film Festival and Best Black Women in film honor at the Charlotte Black Film Festival among others. Dazelle takes great pride in her ability to "convey a message through my craft," a responsibility she approaches meticulously.

But Dazelle's passion for spreading joy and inspiring others extends beyond the screen. She is the founder and CEO of Pretty Girl Certified® (PGC), a company whose mission is to inspire, empower, and motivate women to manifest and become the best version of themselves. Dazelle believes that with each woman they influence, each one will in turn influence another.
When Dazelle is not on set or running her company, she can be found indulging in her love for collecting Barbies. With nearly 200 dolls in her collection and growing, she finds solace in this hobby. Dazelle is also an enthusiastic empty-nester who enjoys vlogging her new path to self-discovery, adding humor and inspiring others along the way. Dazelle Yvette is a true inspiration to all, a woman who has pursued her passions with determination and has used her success to spread joy and empower other women. We at Bacon Magazine are honored to feature her as a Black Woman In Business. To learn more about Dazelle Yvette visit https://www.dazelleyvette.com
