Over the years, Christine's nomadic lifestyle has taken her to places such as Delaware, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, and now Atlanta, Georgia. Proudly a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Christine cherishes her time with family, unwinding with the Hallmark Channel, and indulging in cherry vanilla ice cream.

"I've been writing for as long as I can remember," Christine shares. From middle school letters and academic papers to personal journaling, her love for the written word blossomed early on. In 2017, Christine decided to take her writing seriously, eager to share her thoughts with the world. This determination culminated in the 2020 publication of her debut children's book, "Chrissy Doesn't Like Her Hair!"

Life experiences serve as Christine's muse, fueling her desire to create relatable stories for children. Among her favorite authors is Robert Munsch, whose beloved book "Love You Forever" profoundly impacted her as a reader and writer. Munsch's ability to inspire self-reflection and conversation resonates with Christine, who also finds joy in Anna Dewdney's Llama Llama series.

Christine is currently hard at work on the second book in the Chrissy series, promising an even more thought-provoking narrative. As she continues to grow as an author, Christine remains deeply passionate about her craft and is dedicated to promoting self-love and representation through her stories.

"Chrissy Doesn't Like Her Hair!" tells the tale of young Chrissy, who struggles to accept her tightly coiled locks. Overwhelmed by comparisons to those around her, it takes an encounter with a wise teacher to shift Chrissy's perspective on beauty and self-worth. In one poignant quote, Chrissy muses, "Across the room, Samantha's brown hair looks like a great wavy river flowing over her shoulders. I bet she can wear her hair in any style and look amazing. I wish I could have her hair too."

Christine Williams' literary journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the beauty of embracing one's unique qualities. Through her stories, she continues to inspire and empower young readers, leaving an indelible mark on the world of children's literature.
