The Legacy League brought women’s legal power to the center of the room at Porsche Chantilly on October 6, hosting C-suite executives, entrepreneurs and community changemakers for “The Women’s Legal Playbook: Protecting Your Career, Business, Family & Legacy.”

The evening focused on a question many high-achieving women put off until it becomes urgent: how do you protect what you build? Founder Yasmeen Shields curated and moderated the conversation, drawing on four attorneys from within The Legacy League’s own membership.

An Evening Built for Real Conversation

Guests arrived to catered appetizers, wine service and a preview of the newest Porsche collection. Against the showroom’s automotive backdrop, the setting matched what The Legacy League is known for: refined hospitality paired with thoughtful conversation and genuine connection.

The panel brought together four attorneys and League members:

  • Buta Biberaj, Esq., Cerulean Law Group, PC
  • Sabine Browne, Esq., Browne Family Law, LLC
  • Shaniqua Clark Nelson, Esq., Clark Nelson & Burton, PLLC
  • Siri Turner, Esq., Turner Insights Consulting

Estate Planning, Family Law and Business Law

The discussion covered three areas of law that shape a woman’s financial life: estate planning, family law and business law. The through line was understanding legal power and using it with confidence.

Panelists shared perspectives on protecting assets, navigating family transitions and safeguarding business interests. The goal was to give guests a stronger foundation for making informed decisions about their lives and the legacies they plan to leave.

For women whose responsibilities stretch across executive leadership, business ownership and family life, the conversation reinforced two habits: plan ahead, and know when to bring in counsel. The program offered general legal information, with individual situations reserved for private consultation.

Expertise From Inside the Room

Every panelist came from within the League’s membership, and that was by design. The evening reflected Shields’ vision for a community where exceptional experiences open the door to substantive exchange. By turning to the expertise already among its members, The Legacy League showed what happens when women leaders share knowledge, strengthen relationships and expand one another’s access to trusted advice.

The Legacy League thanked Porsche Chantilly for its hospitality, the panelists for their expertise and its Founding Board for its continued leadership and support.
