1. Famous Amos x U.S. Black Chambers — Ingredients for Success
Amount: $50,000 each to 3 Black-owned businesses ($150,000 total)
Deadline: June 1, 2026, by 11:59 PM PDT
Eligibility: At least 90% Black-owned, in business 5 years or less, U.S.-based, and owners must be 21+. A pitch video is required.
Now in its sixth year, the Famous Amos Ingredients for Success initiative remains one of the most straightforward large-capital opportunities available specifically to Black early-stage founders. Three businesses walk away with $50,000 each, plus mentorship, networking, and educational resources through U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. The application deadline is June 1, which means the window closes this week. If your business qualifies, this one should go to the top of your list.

2. Boundless Futures Foundation EmpowHER Grant
Amount: Up to $50,000 (reimbursement-based)
Deadline: June 1, 2026 (Spring cycle, open now)
Eligibility: Female-founded, registered U.S. for-profit, revenue-generating, under 5 years old, 22+. Social impact focus required.
The EmpowHER grant is one of the larger equity-free awards available to women founders right now, and the mission alignment creates a clear lane for Black women entrepreneurs whose businesses sit at the intersection of commerce and community. Funding is distributed as reimbursement for business expenses, meaning this program rewards founders who are actively building. Priority goes to businesses addressing poverty, hunger, environmental sustainability, or humanitarian needs. The Spring 2026 cycle is open now through June 1.

3. Entreprenista Evolve Grant
Amount: $5,000 quarterly
Deadline: June 19, 2026
Eligibility: U.S.-based, women-led or women-owned, $100K+ annual revenue, in business at least 1 year.
Created by Stephanie Cartin and Courtney Spritzer, co-founders of Entreprenista, and offered in partnership with GIMME Beauty, the Evolve Grant is built specifically for founders who are past the startup phase and need resources to scale. Applications are judged 80% on Innovation and Differentiation and 20% on Impact and Advancement of Women. The $5,000 award is paid via ACH transfer within 4 to 6 weeks of winner verification. If your business is revenue-generating and you are ready to move, the June 19 deadline gives you time to put together a strong application.

4. She’s Connected by AT&T
Amount: $50,000 grand prize + four $5,000 runner-up grants
Deadline: June 30, 2026
Eligibility: U.S.-based, women-owned, fewer than 51 employees.
Now in year five, the AT&T She’s Connected grant is one of the largest women’s small business awards running this cycle. The grand prize winner receives $50,000, a year of free AT&T service, and a new device. Four runner-up businesses each receive $5,000. The eligibility threshold of fewer than 51 employees covers the overwhelming majority of small businesses Black women are building right now. If you have not applied yet, June 30 gives you enough runway to submit a strong entry.

5. Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Grant
Amount: $10,000
Deadline: Rolling. Reviewed monthly June through December 2026.
Eligibility: U.S.-based for-profit small business. Must complete two free online courses or events through the Digital Ready platform to unlock the application.
This one has a built-in step that works in your favor. To unlock the application, you complete two free online courses or events through Verizon’s Digital Ready platform. No cost, no commitment beyond the learning. The grant itself is $10,000, awarded to 10 businesses each month from June through December 2026. Apply once, and your application remains under consideration for each monthly cycle. The courses are a resource, not a barrier. If you are going to spend time applying for capital, spending an hour in free business education first is a reasonable trade.
