Celebrity makeup artist Mimi Johnson has officially launched GlamTrack, an AI-powered beauty platform built to help beauty professionals organize their work, track client looks, and finally earn income from the product recommendations they have been giving away for free.
Johnson announced her platform, calling it a moment more than fifteen years in the making. “TODAY IS THE DAY,” she wrote, introducing GlamTrack to her followers and the wider beauty community.
With over fifteen years of experience as a working makeup artist across television, film, and editorial, including credits with VH1, Bravo, and Real Housewives of Atlanta, a national Super Bowl campaign, and celebrity clients such as Angela Simmons and Academy Award-winning costume designer Ruth Carter, Johnson said she built GlamTrack out of a problem she lived through appointment after appointment.
“After more than 15 years as a makeup artist, I know what it’s like to search through old photos and text messages trying to remember exactly what I used on a client,” Johnson said. “I also know what it feels like to recommend products that people go on to purchase without receiving any real benefit from the influence behind that sale.”
That frustration became the foundation for GlamTrack, a platform Johnson describes as a beauty intelligence, memory, and commerce tool built specifically for how working artists actually operate. The platform lets beauty professionals log a client look in about 60 seconds, with AI handling the documentation, tagging, and write-up while the artist focuses on the artistry.
Every look logged in GlamTrack can be tied to a client profile that stores skin notes, allergies, undertones, and preferences, along with a full history of past looks and the products used to create them. Artists can also connect their existing affiliate accounts, including Amazon, Sephora, LTK, TikTok Shop, and MAC Cosmetics, to a personal Affiliate Vault. Once a product is tagged to a look, the affiliate link attaches automatically, so when a client shops the recap, the artist earns the commission without any extra steps.

“My client texted me eight months after her bridal trial needing every product and every step I used on her,” Johnson said. “I’d done hundreds of faces since then. I had nothing organized to send her. Meanwhile, she’d already gone to Sephora and bought everything I recommended, and I never earned a dime from it. Both of those things should never happen to an artist again.”
GlamTrack is built around three distinct user paths. Beauty professionals get client profiles, a searchable look library, appointment booking with Google Calendar sync, and shoppable recap tools. Beauty creators get a catalog for their looks and product links they can share through Stories, ManyChat, link-in-bio tools, Substack, or TikTok comments, turning every “what did you use” comment into a monetized moment. Beauty clients, meanwhile, get free access to build a personal beauty history, upload a selfie for AI-powered look suggestions, and shop the exact products their artist used on them, all without a credit card required.
Johnson said the platform is also designed to build shoppable portfolios for beauty creators, giving them one clean, searchable archive instead of links scattered across captions, Stories, and DMs.
Beyond the product itself, Johnson framed the launch as personal. “This has been a true labor of love, faith, sacrifice, and a whole lot of learning,” she said. “I’m still learning and moving, so please extend a little grace if everything isn’t perfect. But I truly believe GlamTrack can be a game changer for the beauty industry, and I’m incredibly proud that I kept going long enough to bring this vision to life.”
GlamTrack officially went live on July 29, 2026, with Founding Member pricing available through midnight on August 29, 2026. Pro Artist accounts lock in at $29 per year, down from a regular rate of $99, and Beauty Creator accounts lock in at $19 per year, down from $59. Both tiers include a 14-day free trial. Client accounts remain free permanently.
Johnson is also the founder of Grind Pretty, an organization that has awarded more than $40,000 in grants to women founders, and she celebrated the GlamTrack launch with a party in Atlanta on July 29.
“If you believe in me, in this vision, or in creating better opportunities for beauty professionals, I would love your support,” Johnson said. “Sign up, share GlamTrack with someone in the beauty industry, leave an encouraging comment, or simply help me spread the word. Every bit of support matters more than you know.”
Beauty professionals and creators can start a 14-day free trial and lock in founding member pricing at GlamTrack.ai before the offer closes on August 29.
