Her platform was birthed from her experience as a woman with curves navigating Fashion Week, personal travel, and entertainment, while realizing the world hadn’t fully made room for plus-sized women. As she became more deeply immersed in fashion, she noticed how challenging it was to find fashion-forward, luxury designer clothing for women of her size… women who deserve more than just extended sizes.

As one who found success in Hollywood as an actress and singer, Charlotte is now embracing a different spotlight… A light that calls attention to what is missing, and an opportunity to elicit change. With The Curve Authority, Charlotte has privately consulted with some of the biggest brands in fashion to help navigate what is missing in today’s market. She’s also hoping to turn the brands toward catering more to women over 50. Statistically (according to Nielson and AARP) women 50+ make up the most spending power in entertainment and media. With so much of today’s focus on social media, and fashion catering to youth, it’s no surprise that many brands have found themselves struggling in today’s everchanging economy. When women can see someone like themselves in the clothes, they’re more likely to make the investment.
Charlotte will next be seen making the rounds at Paris Fashion Week, where she’ll be furthering the message of The Curve Authority with fashion’s elite.
