How Sage Supports Black Women In Business 

Sage, a leading provider of business management software and solutions, has partnered with The BOSS Network to support black women entrepreneurs through the "Invest in Progress" grant program. The "Invest in Progress" grant is a pivotal aspect of Sage's partnership with The BOSS Network, aiming to empower black women entrepreneurs by providing them with financial grants and mentorship opportunities. The program reflects Sage's commitment to knocking down barriers that black women face in the business world, particularly in accessing capital and resources necessary for starting and growing their businesses.In its partnership with The BOSS Network, a community supporting professional and entrepreneurial women through digital content and networking, Sage has pledged a three-year, $1.5 million commitment to the BOSS Impact Fund. This fund focuses on investing in black women-led businesses, helping them build scalable, growth-aggressive companies. In 2023, the program offered 25 black women entrepreneurs a capital investment of $10,000 each to support the successful start and growth of their businesses, along with a year-long entrepreneurial mentor program. This response followed an overwhelming interest of over 18,000 applicants, exceeding the program's initial goals.

The grant awardees also receive benefits such as quarterly business training courses through BOSS University, access to The BOSS Network's online community, and complimentary Sage Business Cloud Accounting software. These resources are aimed at addressing the disparity gap in the business world and ensuring that black women entrepreneurs have the confidence and skills needed to reach their full potential.

Sage's efforts to support black women-owned businesses extend beyond just financial grants.
