Essence Girls United Enters Into The Era of Disruption for its 2023 Summit with Jordyn & Jodie Woods, BIA, Muni Long, Pretty Vee & International Music Sensation Tyla

The fourth annual ESSENCE Girls United (GU) Disruptor Summit is set to take place on November 11, 2023, in Atlanta, GA, the ultimate cultural & creative hub of the South and the location of the country's largest consortium of HBCUs. This year's summit will provide a nurturing environment for young Black women, girls, and gender-expansive youth to unite and partake in a day of panels, networking, activations, and more. Themed "The Era of Disruption," the event encourages Zillenials to leverage their voices, unique paths, ideas, and trends to fully embrace and celebrate the Black experience.

As a primary destination for young Black women, ESSENCE Girls United has enlisted a diverse group of speakers, influencers, creatives, and musical performers for the 2023 summit. Noteworthy attendees include the dynamic sister-duo Jordyn Woods and Jodie Woods, South African singer-songwriter Tyla, and the cast of If Not for My Girls, featuring BIA, Muni Long & Pretty Vee, among others. The GU Disruptor Summit will provide a full day of enlightening conversations, workshops, and on-site activities including photo opportunities, the introduction of GU Office Hours, speed mentoring sessions with industry leaders, and the Soko Marketplace, where attendees can support a range of Black-owned businesses. The event will take place at the PC&E sound stage (2235 Defoor Hills Rd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318) from 10:00am - 5:30pm ET and feature:
