Diverse Representation to Host Third Annual Black Entertainment Career Summit to Empower Black Professionals in Entertainment

LOS ANGELES, CA –Diverse Representation, a pioneering organization dedicated to boosting the visibility and hiring of Black agents, attorneys, managers, publicists, and executives within the sports and entertainment sectors, is proud to announce its third annual Black Entertainment Career Summit. Scheduled for May 3-4, 2024, at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, this crucial event is designed to address the persistent underrepresentation of Black professionals in the entertainment industry by providing invaluable educational and networking opportunities.

Participants will engage with leading recruiters, executives, and human resources directors from prominent entities such as Lionsgate/STARZ, United Talent Agency (UTA), Amazon MGM Studios, Wasserman, William Morris Endeavor (WME), Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and NBCUniversal. These interactions aim to furnish attendees with deep insights into career pathways and direct access to influential industry figures capable of facilitating career advancements.

- Speakers of Note: Among the distinguished speakers are Bill Duffy, founder of BDA Sports and a trailblazer in sports management; Lindsay Wagner, UTA's first Chief Diversity Officer; and Tami Quintero, Head of Talent Acquisition at Lionsgate.
